JR Kyushu uses kindergarteners’ voices for “kids announcements” to warn against walking while using smartphones

JR Kyushu and Kyushu Sangyo University launched a safety promotion pilot at Kyushusandai-mae Station in April.

The project uses a child-voice announcement to warn against smartphone use while walking and a student-focused "relatable" signboard.

The goal is to reduce distracted walking on the platform and ease crowding through a more empathetic approach than direct warnings.
