I'm Already Dreading Apple's Camera-Equipped AirPods

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple’s camera-equipped AirPods have entered design validation testing.

The earbuds would use low-resolution cameras on the stems to send visual data to an upgraded Siri.

Planned features may include object reminders and landmark-based directions.

The product has no confirmed launch date and could slip beyond an earlier 2026 target.

Apple is also reportedly exploring other AI wearables, including smart glasses and a pendant.
