Chinese firm debuts compact humanoid robot with 42 DoF and 100 TOPS computing power

KEENON Robotics has launched the compact XMAN-L1 humanoid service robot for customer-facing roles.

The 136 cm robot features 42 biomimetic degrees of freedom, strong mobility, and up to 100 TOPS of edge computing.

It uses Doubao and Tencent language models to support natural conversation and interactive service tasks.

KEENON says XMAN-L1 is ready for deployment in reception, guidance, entertainment, and other commercial settings.
