Satellite internet "Amazon Leo" launched by Sky Perfect JSAT for business customers

Sky Perfect JSAT will distribute Amazon Leo in Japan as an authorized reseller for business and government customers.

The service combines Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network with JSAT's satellite operations expertise.

It is aimed at remote-area connectivity, disaster response, and backup links for critical infrastructure.

The companies will now work on technical validation, sales setup, and operating readiness for the Japan rollout.
