Google Photos adds subtle touch-up tools for faces

Google Photos is adding face-specific retouching tools to its Android photo editor.

The features focus on subtle edits such as blemish removal, teeth whitening, skin smoothing, and small facial adjustments.

The rollout is global, starting on Android devices running Android 9.0 or later with at least 4GB of RAM.

The update improves portrait editing precision, but device and OS limits will make access uneven across users.
