An Italian court ruled Netflix must refund customers for price hikes since 2017

A Rome court ruled Netflix must refund Italian customers for price increases from 2017 to January 2024.

The court also ordered Netflix Italia to notify affected subscribers of their right to a refund.

Movimento Consumatori filed the lawsuit and said over 25,000 users complained about past price hikes.

Consumer lawyers estimated refunds of about €500 for Premium and €250 for Standard users, and Netflix said it will appeal.
