Microsoft unveils its first cyber security-specialized model...and rolls out an agentic security platform

Microsoft unveiled a security-focused AI model, MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, designed to find vulnerabilities in complex code.

It also introduced Perception, an agentic security platform that automates work across red, blue, and green team agents.

Both tools tie into MDASH, Microsoft’s project for identifying and fixing software vulnerabilities.

The products will be available in preview on November 3, underscoring Microsoft’s push into AI-driven cyber defense.
