U.S. Hospital Association accelerates AI adoption in healthcare settings…pilot projects are over

The American Hospital Association and the West Health Institute launched a three-year, $12 million program to help hospitals adopt AI, virtual care, and EHR systems.

The effort will support deployment, measure outcomes, and share lessons across hospitals to speed real-world implementation.

By moving beyond pilots to operational adoption, the program could accelerate broader use of digital health tools and improve care delivery, including for older adults.
