Students in China are renting smart glasses to cheat on exams, and it's surprisingly easy

A rental market for AI-powered smart glasses has appeared on Chinese social platforms and secondhand sites.

Students have used the glasses to scan exam questions and receive real-time answers despite bans on such devices in national exams.

Sellers advertise daily rentals for 40–80 yuan and one entrepreneur said he rented over 1,000 units in four months.
