Guy Who Allegedly Leaked The New Avatar Movie Arrested, Could Serve Seven Years In Jail

Singapore police arrested a 26-year-old man over an alleged leak of an unreleased Paramount Avatar sequel.

Authorities said he accessed a Paramount media server without authorization, downloaded the film, and shared it online.

Investigators seized devices, and the alleged offense could bring up to seven years in jail and a fine.

The case may deter piracy of unreleased films and spotlight studio content-security risks.
