The Artemis II crew snapped some mesmerizing photos of Earth

NASA published photos taken by the Artemis II crew showing Earth through the Orion window.

Commander Reid Wiseman photographed Earth after the spacecraft's translunar injection burn on April 2.

At publication, Artemis II was over 105,000 miles from Earth during its 10-day Moon flyby test flight that will not land.

The mission is a test run for future deep-space missions, with a crewed lunar landing planned for Artemis IV in 2028.
