Mizuno launches denim bags made from recycled wooden bats for 120th anniversary

Mizuno will release two limited-edition bags made from denim recycled from used wooden bats to mark its 120th anniversary.

The two models, COLORE Waist Bag 3L and COLORE Shoulder Pouch 2L, go on sale in late April with 120 units each.

Prices are ¥9,350 for the waist bag and ¥7,700 for the shoulder pouch; zippers and logos use glove-leather scraps.

Recycled bat denim is produced by crushing collected bats into powder, forming sheets, spinning yarn, dyeing indigo, and weaving denim.

Sales will be through Mizuno's official online shop, MIZUNO TOKYO, and Mizuno Osaka Chayamachi.
