AWS unveiled a multi-agent AI workflow that can read complex building CAD drawings like an expert engineer.

The system patches schematics into functional sections, extracts points and symbols, and infers missing domain details to produce structured BMS data.

AWS says the process cuts analysis time from 2–3 days to about 10 minutes and reached 91% accuracy on the test set.

The stack combines AgentCore, a Vision Language Model, an Orchestrator Agent, and multiple aggregation agents.

The result points to faster, more scalable automation for a manual workflow central to building operations.
