Intel joins Elon Musk’s “Terafab” vision to support next-generation AI chip production

Intel announced on X that it will join Elon Musk’s next-generation semiconductor factory project, Terafab.

Terafab aims to in-house AI and robotics chips for Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI.

Intel said it plans to support the project across design, manufacturing, and packaging.

The move could strengthen the production base for Musk’s AI and robotics ambitions.
