ChatGPT mobile app adds Codex instruction feature, enabling agentic coding and PC automation with Codex without opening a PC

OpenAI is adding a Codex management section to the ChatGPT mobile app in preview.

Users can assign coding and PC-automation tasks, review permission prompts, and manage multiple Codex sessions from their phone.

The feature is rolling out to all ChatGPT plans, with Mac support available and Windows support planned.

The update makes it easier to control agentic coding workflows remotely without switching to a PC.
