Introducing OpenAI Presence

OpenAI launched Presence, an enterprise product for deploying AI agents in specific workflows like support, claims, and IT requests.

The system limits each agent to the knowledge and access it needs, with policies, approval rules, and escalation paths to reduce risk.

OpenAI says Presence is already powering its own English-language phone support and is being explored by companies such as BBVA, SoftBank, and IAG.

The product also uses production feedback and Codex-assisted updates to improve agents after launch.
