Sharing a Claude chat means sharing it with the entire internet: yet another proof that AI doesn't keep your secrets

Public links created by Anthropic’s Claude sharing feature were indexed by Google, exposing some chats in search results.

Some of the surfaced conversations contained sensitive information, and Anthropic said shared content becomes public and can be archived by third parties.

The incident shows that AI chat share links may not be truly private and can spread widely through search engines.
