Sony is rumored to unveil the FE 100-400mm F5.6-8 OSS lens at a product event on August 4.

The lens is said to be a lighter, entry-level telephoto zoom with OSS stabilization and a 67mm filter thread.

It may launch in Europe at 899 euros, positioning it below the FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS.

There is no confirmation that other rumored lenses, such as the FX5 or FE 16-28mm F2.0 GM, will appear at the event.
